In the afternoon single the first three all won so well done to messrs Buckle, Blackmore and O’Doherty. A half for Steve Duffety gave Suffolk a good start. After a couple of losses there were wins for Trevor Hellyer and Smailes and with Peter Revell bring up the rear and getting a half a victory of 6.5 to 8.5 was completed.
Captain Graham Sykes said that the team came out strong against a very good Norfolk team in tough conditions and did very well to half the morning session. A great team effort gave us a very impressive away win. It was an absolutely fabulous day on a very well presented Sheringham. We now look forward to the fixture against Cambridgeshire at Stowmarket on the 9th June.
