On a high scoring day their score of 47 pts just pipped Keith Ribbans and Barry Root from Brett Vale. A special mention to Clive Taylor and David Melvin from Newton Green who must have felt they were in with a shout only to find that Keith and Barry had amassed 25pts on the back nine to their 22.
