Quarter final draw for Parks complete

Thursday 18th June saw the second round of the Parks for low handicap seniors... how did they fare?

The Parks Trophy

The competition to be 2026 winners is hotting up and there were some very close battles in the second round. The closest finish was at Flempton as a lipped out putt denied Rushmere extra holes with the home side winning by 1 hole. This was closely followed by a 3 hole success for Diss over Haverhill. There were great away wins for Bury St Edmunds at Rookery Park, Thorpeness at Southwold and Stowmarket at Newton Green as they look to give Trevor Golton his retirement gift. Elsewhere there were comfortable home wins for Halesworth, Bungay and Hintlesham.
