The final of the Beaumont Trophy between Kingfishers and Haverhill was played at Seckford Golf Club on Wednesday 25th September.
Kingfishers defeated last year’s winners, Haverhill by 8 holes.
Results-Alec Kinge and Garry Taylor beat Bob Hammett and Dennis White 5 holes, Terry McCusker and Graham Baldwin beat Jim Walker and Nick Bailey 1 hole, Jeff Moore and Alan Biddle beat Chris Briggs and Russell Gritty 5 holes, Brian Taylor and Ray Rudland lost to Andrew Cornish and John Levey 3 holes.
