Another successful Junior Team Championship tournament concluded recently with the final match between Diss Golf Club and Haverhill Golf Club being played out on Saturday 4th July at Bungay & Waveney Valley Golf Club.

Another warm afternoon with a slight breeze made for challenging golf, but again good scores were made. In the end, Diss came through with 104 points to Haverhill 97, thereby taking the title.

The team from Diss - George Kershaw, Harley Tricker and Harry Burr, seen here with John Maddock, our County President, were very consistent to take the victory and they now go through to represent Suffolk in the England Junior Champion Club event to be held at Woodhall Spa in August.
