There was a tight game at Halesworth where the visitors were a strong looking Diss side. After some enthralling games it was Halesworth that progressed by a narrow 2 holes.
Southwold, taking some confidence from their Stenson team, won against Newton Green. Felixstowe Ferry held off Brett Vale for a 4 hole win. Ipswich, Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds had comfortable looking margins in their victories.
