After the morning matches Southwold held a slender lead of 1 hole with there back 2 groups of Reuben Harvey and Max Elliott winning by 3 and Paul Booth and David Burrows 2 which more that countered the 4 hole win by Andy Wood and Phil MCComish.

However the team motivation by captain Alan Henry was inspired as all four Bungay pairs won their afternoon matches to take the cup by 10 holes.

The cup was presented to Alan by SGU President John Maddock at the end of the hard fought match played in excellent spirit.
