Rookery Park to host the Match play finals
The semi finals of the Hambro and Tolly Cobbold cups were played at the weekend

In the Hambro Cup Southwold and Halesworth had a very local derby at Bungay and Waveney Valley. Southwold had a comfortable winning margin of 14 holes to make it to the final.
In the other semi-final Bungay and Waveney Valley, under new captain Alan Henry and Bury St Edmunds met at Ufford Park. At lunch Bury St Edmunds were 2 up. Details of Alan's team talk are not known but the Bungay team responded in the afternoon to run out winners by 6 holes.
Southwold and Bungay and Waveney Valley will contest the final on Sunday 16th August with a 9am start.
Pictured below are the winning Tolly Semi finalists from Southwold who overcame a stiff challenge from Seckford at Halesworth by 3 holes.
Meanwhile in the battle of the Parks Rookery and Ufford met on the Southwold course. In a tight match that had a number of challenges set by the Southwold gorse and hard ground it was Ufford who got through to the final for the second year running with a 5 hole win.
Southwold and Ufford Park will contest the final at Rookery Park with a 9.30am start.
