Flempton's wait over as they win the Parks
The Parks final was at Felixstowe Ferry ending in a triumph from Flempton

Thursday last saw the Parks final between Halesworth and Flempton with both sides playing some steady golf under pressure in the previous rounds to make the final.
While the match was close throughout Flempton held the upper hand and ran out winners by 6 holes to give them their first win in 92 years I am led to believe.
Jeremy Jenkins, the Halesworth captain, acknowledged the win by saying it was not to be for us. The turning point was a +9 victory for the Flempton pairing of Tungate and Porter. Captain Chris Tate said that it was a wonderful performance by the complete team on the day, everyone battling until the end.
Medals were presented to both sides by Charlie Wilderspin.
