The first team entertained Lincolnshire at Woodbridge GC. The day was made complicated by an injury to a player who went on to win maximum points on 1 leg. The morning foursomes saw a 3 - 1 score to the visitors. Despite good performances in singles from Jack Cardy, Patrick Coffey and Russell Oakey the vistors completed a 4 - 8 win.

The second team took a long trek to Gainsborough and Thonock Park GC. Louis Sturman, fresh from his good showing at the Amateur, was making his debut and with a seasoned, experienced side hopes were high. A lunch time score of 3.5 - 0.5 meant a mountain to climb. Like the first team 3 wins were achieved leaving Lincolnshire victors by 8.5 - 3.5.
