Suffolk 1sts and 2nds lose to Cambridgeshire in Anglian League

Suffolk 1sts traveled to Brampton Park Golf Club on Sunday 7th July to take on Cambridgeshire in an Anglian League match. 

The morning foursomes were shared 2-2 with Monty Scowsill and James Biggs and Jack Cardy and Sam Debenham both winning their matches.

Wins in the afternoon singles from Scowsill, Chris Fleming and Habebul Islam and a halve from Fricker were not enough to prevent them going down to a 6.5 to 5.5 defeat.

The 2nds were also in action against Cambridgeshire at Haverhill Golf Club.

The morning foursomes saw them trailing by 2.5 to 1.5, the points coming from a win from Chris Vince and Josh Driver and a halve from Adam Sheldrake and Russell Oakey.

They were only able to gather 2 points from the afternoon singles with wins from Captain , Ben Sayers and Adam Sheldrake leaving Cambridgeshire winners by 8.5 to 3.5
